The College of Arms is the official heraldic authority for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and much of the Commonwealth including Australia and New Zealand.
As well as being responsible for the granting of new coats of arms, the College maintains registers of arms, pedigrees, genealogies, Royal Licences, changes of name, and flags. The heralds, besides having ceremonial duties, advise on all matters relating to the peerage and baronetage, precedence, honours and ceremonial as well as national and community symbols including flags.
When the College wanted to update their Telephone system in 2018, we spent 3 months working in this wonderful listed building in the heart of London, next to St Pauls Cathedral.
We had to install, Cat5e and fibre optics into this ancient building to bring it’s communication technology up to the 21st Century.
Since the completion of the Telephone system, we have retained the College as an IT Support customer looking after their PC’s as well as continuing to install more Structured Cabling and most recently CCTV on their scaffolding whilst the building was undergoing a major clean up.
